ITACARE

and it was true... itacare was just awesome.after almost one day in the bus, i arrived in this little beach town. a few 1,000 people living the true life in 2 main streets. the good thing is that i got there off season so it was definitely not too busy....

AMAZONAS

After a quick stop over in fortaleza where not much happened, we flew to manaus, the main city located right in the middle of the amazon. this city seems to be a big industrial city but in the same time people seem to be pretty slow and inactive... anyways,...

LAUCA NATIONAL PARK

after an overnight ride, we arrived in the nice little town of Putre, close to the peruvian border. putre is located in this national park with loads of snow capped volcanoes, dry mountains, lakes and alpacas. its nice around here and you learn to appreciate...

HANGZHOU & GULANG YU

done with shanghai, it s now time to say good bye to bruno and to take the 2h train to hangzhou. the main attraction there is the west lake which apparently is beautiful and loved by all the chinese. so in the evening i arrive at this nice little hostel...

TAIAN & XIAN

yo folks, after 2 chilled out days in qingdao, i decide to go for a bit of a challenge and i take the train to taian in order to climb the taishan mountain. not too high, about 1550m but its all steps... a total of 6660! i arrive in town a bit late, around...

THE PANTANAL

After this amazing climb, it was time to get back to reality and i m headed to the jungle in the north of the country. this is either a 45min flight or a 24h bus ride on a bumpy road. i decide to go by bus and come back by plane. i wanted to see the road...

Around XIAN

today the plan is to go around xian so see a couple of archeological sites. the most famous is the terracotta warriors (some experts rate it as the 8th wonder...) let s check it out for real. i ask reception to wake me up at 8 cos the little tour leaves...

BUZIOS

after 4 days in rio, it was time to go again. after all, i have a lot to do in the next 6 months and i cant hang out at one single spot for a month like some other travellers. so the next step is buzios, a nice little town 3h away from rio, heading north....

after this good flight above the lines in nazsa i had to wait for a bus to cusco. because of the earthquake, the bus system was a bit messed up and when i got into the bus my spot was already occupied. overbooking hey. so the chick wouldnt let me in....
